Veldman Slijptechniek has several Vollmer CNC grinding machines at its disposal, including a CNC grinding robot with loading system. This allows us to grind saw blades 24 hours a day. And as one of the few grinding shops in the Netherlands, we can even grind saw blades up to a diameter of 1350mm!
We can also grind HSS circular saws or HSS segment saws for you. We have the latest CNC Loroch grinding machine at our disposal. The saws are automatically grooved, sharpened, fused and if necessary creased in one operation.

Production and grinding of shank cutters
WE CAN PRODUCE ANY SOLID CARBIDE SPIRAL CUTTER TO CUSTOMER SPECIFICATIONS
We have two Saacke CNC grinding robots with grinding stone changers and chaotic loading which enables us to grind and produce shaft mills 24 hours a day.
In our grinding shop in Heerhugowaard we produce in-house all types of end mills (rough cutters) for the wood, metal, plastic and composite processing industries. All standard dimensions are available from stock and can be ordered directly online through our webshop. This applies to both positive milling cutters (material discharge upwards) and negative milling cutters (material discharge downwards). The latter milling cutters are often used on CNC milling machines for nesting operations.

Custom made production
We also custom produce the solid carbide milling cutter or drill to your requirements. Think of specific profile mills, step drills or extremely long mills. If you provide us with a dxf drawing, we can import it into our grinding machine and then produce the milling cutter or drill bit aar your requirements. We can email you a 3-D drawing in advance so you know exactly what your tool will look like!
Production of solid carbide end mills for plastics
We produce various types of solid carbide end mills for the plastics processing industry. Frequently used cutters are positive milling cutters with a polished chip surface and clearance surface. As a result, both the finish and tool life are better than regular milling cutters. Veldman Grinding Technology also produces mills for HIMACS and Dibond milling cutters for machining dibond (ACP) and alumium sandwich panels, among others.
Production of solid carbide end mills for 3D machining
Our grinding machines have an extra long bed, making us one of the few tool grinding companies in the Netherlands capable of producing very long solid carbide end mills up to 300 mm. These CNC milling cutters are often used for 3D operations where long cutters are sometimes necessary. Balanced solid carbide end mills
Particularly with single-cutter mills, it may be necessary to balance them. By using specific software on our grinding machines, we can calculate how the milling cutter should be adjusted during production in order to balance it as much as possible, thus reducing vibration during milling.
Delivery of new (CNC) tools
In addition to sharpening tools, Veldman Slijptechniek also supplies standard and special tools for (CNC) machines for machining wood, metal and plastic, among other things. Through our webshop you can order your standard tools, knives and circular saw blades of JHV, Quwoto, Freud circular saws and Wirutex tools directly and these are often shipped to you the same day by DHL. Because we have an unprecedented stock of tools we are able to deliver your tools very quickly.
