All Freud saw blades are produced with a unique tungsten carbide (TiCo carbide) developed by Freud itself. In combination with specially developed tooth geometries, this ensures perfect cutting results on a wide range of materials such as wood, sheet metal, aluminum and plastic. The teeth of a Freud saw blade are as much as 30% thicker than standard teeth, which means that Freud circular saw blades can be sharpened up to 25 times and the life of the blade is longer than normal saw blades. Reduce friction thanks to the Silver I.C.E. coating

A large number of Freud circular saws are equipped with a special Silver I.C.E. coating. This high-quality anti-corrosion coating ensures that the temperature of the saw blade remains low during cutting. The Silver I.C.E. coating further provides an anti-clogging function that improves chip removal during cutting and significantly reduces resin accumulation. This reduces friction during cutting and extends the life of the saw blade.

Improved precision with the anti-vibration slots

Freud's circular saw blades are often equipped with special laser-cut anti vibration slots in the blade that allow a perfect finish to be achieved. Thanks to the special thermoplastic polyurethane filling, vibrations during sawing are significantly reduced and noise is kept to a minimum. The saw blade of this circular saw is equipped with an innovative geometry concept with pyramid-shaped teeth that significantly reduces wear on the cutting edge of the saw blade. The saw blade is equipped with a Black EXtrim coating which removes the chips directly from the gutters, preventing the chips from fusing to the steel body and thereby blunting the surface.
