What is Trespa?

Trespa is a type of High-Pressure Laminate (HPL) made by the Dutch fiberboard manufacturer Trespa. These Trespa boards are composed of wood fibers, paper, and thermosetting resin, which are compressed under high pressure. On both sides, they are coated with a hard, impervious EBC top layer.

The compressed layers contain natural fibers impregnated with phenolic resin. This high-pressure compression creates a very strong core. Due to the high pressure and temperature during compression, these solid plastic boards are extremely weather-resistant, very strong, and difficult to stain.
