Variplan planer blade HM+ for the Variplan system

Variplan planer blade suitable for the Variplan clamping system. The HM Variplan quick-change blade is suitable for planing soft and hard woods, glued wood, and sheet material using a planer cutterhead on a planer, surfacer, or thicknesser. Planing softwood with many knots is not recommended with this type of Variplan HM planer blade.

The Variplan HM planer blades are of excellent quality and have a blade height of 16 millimeters. The blade thickness of the Variplan blade is 3.7 millimeters. The lifespan of this type of Variplan planer blade depends on the type of wood being planed. The blade is reversible for double-sided use.

Longer service life compared to normal HM knives
The Variplan blade in HM+ version is a polished version. This gives a Variplan HM+ planer blade up to 40% more service life than a standard HM Variplan blade .
